John Cleo Jones was born on November 25, 1972 in Nashville, TN, to Thelma F. Jones and Frankie L. Jones Sr. He passed away November 5, 2021. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Saint Peter AME Church. John received his GED and was constantly striving for greatness which is reflected by him recently receiving a certification for Commercial Drivers License (CDL). John was loving and devoted to family. He, in turn, was loved by many. Even though he was a man of few words, John had an infectious laugh and smile that would light up a room. His hobbies were collecting retro Jordan brand tennis shoes and Cadillac Cars.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Sons, Calvin M. Hargrove, Jawaun Jones, and Craig Cratwright; Daughters, Jessica L. Jones, Mariah K. Patton, and Nia Cartwright; Grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Calvin Hargrove Jr, Carter Hargrove, and Elijah Ace. Sisters; Elaine Frey, Deidre Denley, Robin Britt, Stephanie (Eric) Alexander; Brothers, Lewis “Yosh” (Karen) Dawson and Frankie L. Jones Jr; Devoted friends, Mitzi Vaughn, Sherri Jones, Tonya Hargrove, Alycia Grissim, Joey Guilds, and Georgia Ann Tate; Devoted best friends, Marcus “MJ” (Sydney) Jackson, William “Pat” Bennett, and Regina Enochs. His was preceded in death by his son Johnathan M. Jones and father Frankie L. Jones Sr. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
