John D. Jones Sr., age 81, of Nashville, TN departed this life May 27, 2015. Survived by loving family & friends.
John D. Jones Sr. born June 4, 1933 to the late General B. Talley and Lucy Jones. John was the oldest of his siblings. He was preceded in death by brother Garfield Talley. John was born and raised in Neptune, Tennessee. He relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where he owned and operated a janitorial service " Jones Cleaning Service." John was always smiling & laughing. He was known for helping others.
John committed his life to Christ at an early age at the Chestnut Grove Baptist in Cheatham County.
He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories; A Loving Wife: Magdalene Jones, Daughters: Nancy Warfield, Janise Cosby, and Patricia Nelson. Sons: John D. Jones Jr.,
Michael (Shelia) McCullough, and Marco (Celeste) Jones, Grandchildren: Omeka Fuller, Lakeisha (Harold) Adams, Nevada Cosby, Cory Warfield, Javon Jones, Bradley Jones, Michael Palmer Jr.,
Tranita McCullough, Jaden Jones, Bryce Jones and 15 Grandchildren. Sister: Janice (Eric) Johnson, Brothers: General B. (Wynde) Talley, and Amos (Janice) Johnson. Sister-In-Laws: Roberta Galbreath, Ellen (Charlie) Bell, Emma Sebree, Dora and Juanita Roberts all of Nashville, TN and a host of other family and friends.
