Johnny Bell Knight was born on March 26, 1948 to the late William D. Knight and Ida Jackson-Knight, to this union 13 children were born. He received his education through Bellevue High Davidson County,Tennessee.
Johnny Bell accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as is personal Savior at an early age. He was employed with Superior Motors for more than 15 years after which gained employment in Landscaping until his failing health.
Johnny Bell aka (King B) served as the Business manager for social club 747 for several years. He enjoyed the smooth grooves and electric moves of none other than Jackie Wilson and James Brown. Johnny Bell was a smooth dressing casanova man who was loved by everybody he came in contact with.
God called Johnny Bell home to be with him in Glory on August 14, 2017 at Southern Hills Medical Center where he was surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.
Johnny Bell was preceded in death by his parents, William D. Knight and Ida Jackson-Knight; brothers Jessie Knight, Robert Knight, James Knight, Willie Knight, Edward Knight and Baby Knight (Edwards Twin); sisters, Mary Knight and Helen Knight, and Lorraine Jackson
Johnny Bell leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Johnnie, Shirley, Stacey and Kanekra Knight; sons, Jermaine (Essence) Knight and Marquis Winstead; sisters, Nannie Boyland, Shirley Patton and Ida Carter; grandchildren, Rickey Knight and My’Eshia Williams, Jermaine Jr, Dejon, Shasta, Alizaye, Anthony, Stephanie, Starkisha, Quintesha, Elijah, Elisha, Aaron and KaMiyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; a devoted friend, Shirley Claybrooks.
