Josephine Caruthers Leavell Carter

Ms. Josephine Carter transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, June 10, 2022.

She loved and cared for children and adults of all ages. She became a Foster Grandparent with the Fifty Forward Program where she continued to touch young lives.
Mother Carter was married to Justin Carter until he was called home to be with the Lord. She’s preceded in death by 5 siblings, 2 children, 2 extended children and other loved ones.
Mother Carter leaves to cherish her memory brother Henry Brown Caruthers (Irene), niece Jimmie Lee Walton. Children Marie Jackson, Elizabeth Harper (Kenneth), Louis Caruthers (Tanya), William Caruthers, Mary Leavell, and Larry Leavell. Extended Children Ellen Wright (Buddy), Louis Deep (Sue), Norman Deep (Theresa), Kelly Deep, Kris Matz (Jeff) and Adam Doochin, 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
