Jumaane received his heavenly wings March 9th, 2017 and was a resident of Nashville Tennessee.
Jumaane was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 1st, 1977 to the late Donald D. Davis and Phyllis Lesley-Davis. He moved to Nashville along with his family in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald D. Davis and devoted great aunt, Anna D. Cummings, and grandparents.
He received his education in the Nashville Public Schools. He later obtained his Master Barber License at International Barber and Style College and had a deep passion for his profession. That was his one true love.
Jumaane was a very compassionate person never meeting any strangers. He loved swimming, games, fishing, football, music, and family activities.
He received Christ at an early age, and rededicated his life to Christ at New Faith Baptist Church and had a very deep personal relationship with Christ, his Pastor and Church Members.
Jumaane will be greatly missed by his only sibling twin brother, Omari Shakir Davis.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: mother, Phyllis Lesley-Davis, twin brother, Omari (Mercedes) Davis; children, Jumaane Christian and Alexis Nevae Davis; fiance, Leslie A. Howse; aunt, Deborah and Sandra McCall of California; great uncles, George (Jean) Lesley and Donald E. Cummings; two nephews, Damari and Jordan Davis; very devoted friend, Jade Utley, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
