Kim was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Dr. Carter Jr; her grandmother, Fannie L. Owens; sister in law, Tammy Kirby Clark; son in law, Randy Evans; aunt, Dorothy Reece; uncles, Billy Reese and Monroe McCord; cousins, Brendon Leggs, Christopher Owns and Charles (Chucky) Owens.

Kim leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Anita Taylor; step father, Hames Taylor; father, (adoptive) Johnny Clark, devoted longtime companion, Ronnie Smith; children, Demetrius Clark, LaKenya Clark, TaKeia Bradford, Alphonzo (Shieka) Bradford, and TyCohyia Clark; 10 grandchildren, MarKiya Clark, Raymeisha Jennings, Rayonne Jennings, E’Moni Gleaves, TaRiyah Evans, Randy Evans, Jr., Zoey Bradford, Zahir Bradford, and twins JaCobi and JaCari Clark; three brothers, Kevin Clark (Isabelle), James Clark, and Ronnie Clark; step brother, LeQuent Taylor, sister, Renae Carter; 5 aunts, 7 uncles, a host of nieces and nephews and numerous cousins; Kim had many aunts and cousins, devoted aunt, Beth Mimms and devotes cousin, Cheryl Parker; the devoted Foxx Family and among all of her friends, devoted friend Karen Richardson.
