Obituary
LaTanya Dahlene (Tan) Roberts Muldrew was born, October 11, 1958 in Davidson County, Tennessee to William Roberts and former Gwendolyn Lipscomb. She departed this earthly life on March 15, 2018. She was educated in the Davidson County School System, graduating from Maplewood High School in 1976. She attended the University of Tennessee, Nashville. She was employed many years as a certified nurse technician (CNT).
She was saved at an early age and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of West Nashville, under the pastorate of the late Reverend W. A. Jenkins. As a member of the First Baptist Church, she served as a member of the choir. She later moved her membership to the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Reverend George T. Brooks, Sr. She loved traveling, dancing, and shopping. Another of her loves was riding motorcycles. She was married in 1983 to Anthony Muldrew.
LaTanya leaves to cherish her memory five beautiful children, Tanya (Andrayus) Washington, Tiffany Spence, Anthony Muldrew, Brittany Muldrew, and Nicholas Muldrew; mother, Gwendolyn Douglas; father William Roberts; nine grandchildren, Torian Lewis, Ta’Nya Williams, Fabian Spence, Sophia Washington, Adrian Spence, Robert Washington, Bruce Washington, Bella Muldrew, and Olivia Washington; several aunts and uncles; a host of other relatives and friends; devoted friend of more than twenty years, Larry Clopton.
