Mrs. Latoya Yoshinda Lanender-Ewing was born on December 9, 1973 in Nashville, TN to the union of John Cosby, Sr., and Ida Mae Lavender. She was the youngest out of eight children.
She transitioned into eternity on Monday, September 19, 2016.
Latoya was educated in Davidson County Public School System. Sher was united in Holy matrimony to Jimmy Davis, Sr.
She worked off and on for over twenty years as a house keeper.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and love her.
Latoya was preceded in death by father, John Cosby, Sr.; brothers, John W. Cosby, Jr., Ronald Lillard and Thomas N. Cosby; grandmother, Emma F. Larence; uncle, Norwood Hutchinson; nephews, Stefan Lavender and Dominique Lavender; great grandmother, Maggie Johnson.
Survived by her five daughters, Latoya L. Lavender, Antonisha Brown, Latonya Brown, Justice Lavender and Nicole Lavender; grandchildren, Davion Brown, Jaelyn Lavender, Trinitihope Car and Mariah Parham; mother, Ida Mae Lavender; siblings, Natasha Nunn, Angela Lavender, Melody Lavender, Richard Lavender, Kimberly Lavender and Reginald Lavender, Belinda Cosby, Cheryl Cosby, Terri Cosby, Rhonda Cosby and Todd (Georgia) Cosby; devoted companion, Delenor Griffin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted friend, Mrs. Charlene.
