LeMonica Lewis Adkerson, age 48 of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Survived by husband, Stephen Adkerson; two step-children, Stephen & Stefanie Adkerson; devoted siblings, Gwendolyn “Mama” Elaine Lewis Smarr (the late JC Smarr, Jr.), Quintinia “Bounty Hunter” Lewis, Sr. (Audrey), Aquinas P. Lewis “Madea”, and Thaddious “Poochie” Edmonds; devoted nieces & nephews, Victoria Lewis, Shelbi Smarr, JC Smarr, III, Quintinia Lewis, Jr. (Not able to attend services….Navy-Honolulu Hawaii); great nephew, Kameron Alexander Vaughn; God son, Don Woods, Jr; God nieces, Shenika Welch-Charles, Kimberly Welch, Talesia Price; very devoted God niece, LaKesha Welch; best friends, Deborah Welch & Toni Woods; close family members, Henry Jones (Papa), Walter Smith (Daddy), and Lottie White (Mama), Abe Small (Dad); loving uncles, Joseph E. Shyer, Jr. (Columbia, TN), and Freddie Delta (Cincinnati, OH); a host of cousins and many devoted loving friends.
Public viewing Tuesday, May 12th from 1-7pm at Highland Hills Chapel.
Visitation Wednesday, May 13th from 11AM-12 noon with funeral to follow at Hicks Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1515 Sweetbriar Ave. Interment Greenwood North Cemetery.
