She accepted Christ at an early age. Upon her move to Nashville, TN in 1964, she became a member and served on the Usher Board, of the now Babb Memorial/King Solomon Baptist Church, at the time, under the leadership of her uncle, Dr. Reverend Morgan Babb. She later joined Metropolitan Interdenominational Church under the Senior Servant, Reverend Edwin C. Sanders, II and was a faithful member of Circle 5. It was evident she loved the Lord.

She then went on to work at Wade Elementary School as a Teacher Assistant. It should be noted, that when first arriving to Nashville, she worked for a Cabinetry Company and Blue Bell. Lenora was woman of many talents and hard-worker indeed.

In her latter years, she became a member of Fifty Forward and the Red Hat Society where she was a member of Ladies of Agape. Lenora loved all the outings, people, and traveling. She will be remembered for her loving personality and beautiful smile.
