Lilmon A. Esters, Jr., passed away on May 6, 2017. He served 20 years in the Air Force and 17 years at the Nashville Post Office (West Station).
Lilmon was preceded in death by his father, Lilmon A. Esters, Sr; mother, Dianne Wright; sisters, Jacklyn Dalton and Gwendolyn Esters; and half brother, Roger Merrel.
Survived by his wife of 47 years, Geraldine Byers-Esters; children, Ardie (Denise), Anthony (Dana) McDaniel, Adrienne Esters, Dianne (Kenneth) Rodgers; grandchildren, Latoya McDaniel, Alexandria Esters, Clifford Esters, Austin McDaniel and Kennedy Rodgers; great grandchildren, Zion Esters, Zoe Smith, twins, Jordyn Esters and Jayden Esters; half brothers, Donnie Esters and James Merrel; half sisters, Vernise Thompson, Sharon Forbes and Sandra Chandler; other relatives and friends.
Visitation with the family Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 12 noon-1pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike with Graveside service to follow at 2:00pm in the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, TN with Elder Larry Pinkerton, officiant.
