Linda Faye Thompson

Linda Faye Thompson was born to Martha and Mark Greene in Kinston, North Carolina.

She was educated at Adkins High School and Lenoir Community College.

She was united with Tusculum Hills Baptist Church.

Linda was employed with the State of Tennessee Employment Job Security Department and Club House Inn. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, drawing and crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her father, Mark Greene; brothers, Alton Greene, Cleo Greene and Lyndell Greene and sister, Delores Caster.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Martha Greene; children, Anita (David) Thompson-Gordon, Sabrina Thompson, La’Won Thompson, Michael Thompson; Step- son Rufus Thompson; God son, Edward Jones; grandchildren, Adrienne “Shay” Gordon, David Gordon Jr., DeAnte Thompson, Deshawntre Thompson, Darniqua Thompson, TeAma Jones, Maya Eckles, Keanthony Thompson, Jimmyrious Parker, Michael Thompson Jr., Mikiya Thompson, Royal Thompson; great grandchildren, Isys Gordon, Tatyana Gordon, DeAnte Thompson Jr., Kaleeah Thompson, Londyn Howard, Draden Thompson, Kaylee Bryant; sisters, Gerald ( Larry) Martin and Bernice (Lewis) Johnson; brothers, Wilbert Greene, Winston ( Marva) Greene and Mark Greene Jr.; devoted friend, Sidney Riley as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends
