Ms. Lola Jane Bruce

Lola Jane Bruce was born on July 18, 1942 in Leighton, Alabama, the daughter of the late Rayford and Louise Holderfield Harvey. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2013. She spent much of her working life as a nurse. She loved to care for people and she was the peacemaker for her family. She absolutely adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Frank Harvey and her favorite dog, “Shaddy.”

She leaves behind her husband and companion Paul Whitford Bruce, Jr.; Children, Donna (Mike) Kemp of LaVergne, TN, Tim (Sherri) Bruce and Billy Bruce, both of Smyrna, TN; and Mark (Kelly) Bruce of Dwight, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Jason (Kenyun) Hughes, Chase Bruce, Cody Wallace, Kendra Faulk, Nicholas Bruce, Ashlyn Bruce, Caitlin Bruce; eight great-grandchildren, Alexandria Hughes, Caitlyn Bruce, Jeremiah Hughes, Jazzmine Hughes, Jayla Hughes, Ariana Williams, Candace and Madison Wallace, Layla Faulk; brothers, Bobby (Deanna) Harvey of Oklahoma and Phillip (Gale) Harvey of Florida; dogs Missy and Dior. A host of other friends and family members.
