Lola Dayton, 86, our beloved Mother, Role Model and Friend peacefully passed away on September 27, 2016 at the Signature Nursing Home in Nashville, TN. She was born on April 9, 1930 in Hillsboro, AL to King and Georgia Trammel. In 1953 she married Carl Dayton. Although that marriage ended in divorce, they had four children.
She is survived by sons, Carlton, Maurice, Cedric and daughter, Angela along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
Memorial services were held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2525 Buena Vista Pike, Nashville, TN 37218 on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 2:00pm.
