Lorenzo Barr

Lorenzo Barr was born on September 12, 1957 in Georgetown County South Carolina to his father and mother Lillie Mae Barr.

Lorenzo transitioned this earthly life on Thursday September 28, 2023, at his residence in Nashville, TN.

Lorenzo accepted Christ as his personal savior and is a Christian by faith.

 Lorenzo was educated at Howard High School in Georgetown, SC, and after he graduated he was enlisted into the United States Army where he served for 17 years. He served in two wars; Desert Storm, and Iraq freedom for his service to his country he was awarded a Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars and numerous medals and awards.

 Those that are left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife, Tamara Barr; devoted sons, Lorenzo Barr Jr. and Kevin Barr; devoted daughter, Nickole Barr Holt Robinson and husband, Reginald Holt Robinson; grandchildren, Issieah, Malini, Reginald Jr., Noah, Robin and Israel; three brothers, five sisters and a host of nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews cousins and friends and he will be missed by all.
