Lorenzo McGee Jr. Aka JuneBug was born October 1, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lorenzo and Ruby McGee Thompson. His Earthly life ended peacefully with a smile on his face on Monday, August 31, 2023, at Skyline Medical Center.

He attended Metro Public Schools in Davidson County, and he went on to join the United States

Army where he was awarded an honorable discharge on June 6, 1977

Junebug was a child of God which he gave his life to Christ at the age of 14 at Slyvan street

Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Moses Taylor, 326 Arrington St, Nashville, TN 37207 and later became a member of Holy Name Catholic Church of Nashville, TN.

JuneBug loved life, he loved helping others, he was a selfless person always concerned with the needs and wishes of others rather than his own. He had a calm, gentle, warming spirit. His style was his own; he never was a flashy person, always humble. For enjoyment and relaxation, he would listen to jazz while enjoying a nice book, a cup of coffee or a nice cold drink.

He leaves to cherish his memory 3 sisters: Deborah, Shelia, and Lolita McGee; 2 brothers: Jerry and Lopez (Sherimal) Mcgee; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
