Margie (Marge) Harmon passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
A Colorado native, Margie was born and raised in Denver and was the youngest of 7 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Torres and her brothers, Arthur, Jimmy, Phillip and sisters, Camille and Frances and husband, Ed Harmon. She has 1 surviving sister, Grace.
Working as the elevator girl at the world famous Brown Palace Hotel, she met the handsome bellman who stole her heart. She and Ed were married for 54 years until his passing in 2011. They were life long members of Bear Valley Church of Christ where she taught children’s Bible school classes for 25 years. She also worked and retired from Wells Fargo Bank.
Ed and Margie had four children who survive them. Michael, a preacher in N.M.; Victoria, driver in Colorado; Terry, a preacher in S.D.; and Kelli, a musician in Tennessee. They are also survived by their grandchildren: Jillian Harmon, Grady Cox, Lyle Cox, Ella Cox, Timothy Harmon and Andrew Harmon.
