Mr. Marion Ostine, affectionally known as “Moby” was born on December 23, 1960 in Nashville, Tennessee. He transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Friday, July 12, 2024 after an extended illness.
Marion lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger. His greatest treasures were his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved music, dancing, traveling, and entertaining guests. He was “The Life of the Party” assuring that everyone was having a great time!
Marion devoted his life to Christ and joined Mt Zion Baptist Church in 2002.
Marion graduated from Maplewood High School in 1979. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army and served as SP U Engineer from 1979-1984 and was honorably discharged in 1985.
Though Marion enjoyed various employment opportunities, his position at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solution Logistics allowed him to serve his passion in the auto industry. He loved working on cars.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents Dollie Delora Ostine and Hershal Ostine. Grandparents: Addie B. Reed and Melvin Long. Sisters: Roszella Horton and Valerie Ostine. Grandson: Kendall D. Ostine.
He leaves to cherish his memories, loving, devoted wife of 27 years Angela Ostine. Children: Kendall L. Ostine Ke’Andrea Ostine, Deandrea Woodard (Gordon) Maceo Harris (Ashley)
