Marshall G. Williams was born August 4,1936 in Cadiz, Kentucky. He was born to Odessa Williams. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Cumberland Manor Health Care and Rehab Center.
Marshall confessed faith in Christ at an early age and later united with Gethsemane Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Elder John Davis.
Marshall loved the Lord and didn't mind letting you know. He loved his church and attended faithful under the leadership of Elder Marlo Marthel until his health failed him.
Marshall was a people person and never met a stranger. He was employed at Vanderbilt Hospital and Goodwill Industries for several years. Whether cutting grass or chopping wood. Marshall was always looking for a way to earn an honest dollar.
Marshall was preceded in death by him wife, Carrie Mae Mann Williams and mother, Odessa Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Phillip Marshall Williams and Patrick Andrew Williams of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Phillip Williams, Jr (PJ), Morgan, Meagan, Jeremiah, Patrick and Patricia; devoted sister, Irene M. Jones; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
