Martha Jean Bell was born October 6, 1949 in Franklin, Tennessee to Curtis Bell and Cordelia Myrtle Jones. She departed this life on Thursday April 5, 2018 at Creekside Rehabilitation.
Martha was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools. She also attended Draughons Junior College where she received her CNA License.
Martha was employed at Richland Place until her health began to fail.
March found Christ at an early age in her life being under the leadership of Elder S.L. Fitzgerald at Ephesians Primitive Baptist Church. She remained a member under the leadership of Elder Cornelius A. Hill until her death.
Martha loved her motorcycle friends, they were like her second family. She loved to cook, read and helping others.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marshall Blake.
Those left to cherish her memory are four brothers, Wesley Dawson, Curtis Bell, Jimmy and Frank McGee, all of Nashille, TN.; eight sisters, Cordelia Z. Dawson, Lisa, Shirley and Laura Bell, Jackie and Sherry McGee, Kina (Travis) Bell Jones and Alice Jones; great uncle, Dillard Body; devoted best friend, Yvonne “Wonder Bug” Claybrooks. A host of nieces, nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
