Mrs. Mary E. Hill

Age 87, departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Richland Place Health Center. Mrs. Mary is preceded in death by her parents John Edward Johnson and Vera Wade Howse.

Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 68 years, Mr. Henry Hill Jr. ; son, Michael E. Hill (Christi); daughters, Terrell E. Hill and Veronica E. Hill-Peters (Prince III); brother, John Thomas Johnson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; close friends, Gwen Sharpe and Vera Coleman; a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.

A Celebration of Mrs. Mary's life will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 21 Hart Street, Nashville, TN 37210. Visitation with family will begin at 11am to 12 noon with funeral to follow. Entombment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
