Mary Phyllis Swett Simmons, age 89 transitioned from this life to eternal life on Friday, December 28, 2023 at Alive Hospice.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Joseph Ronnie Majors, Sr (Carolyn) and Clark Dennis Simmons Jr. (Fannie Marie); three daughters,  Lavonia Dawn Simmons Waters (David), Dana Ann Simmons Darden (Robert) and Gwendolyn Marie Simmons Cobb (Michael); ten grandchildren: Joseph Majors Jr (Angela), Elliott Waters (Nyeesha), Tellany Graham (Henry), Tiffany Boyd (Dominique), Markeisha Winston, Maurice Roberts III (Marshae), Adam Roberts (Regina), Stephanie Waters (Charles), Jessica Batey (Ryan), Nakia Simmons, and Uriel Davis; thirty great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives, loved ones, and friends.

PER FAMILY REQUEST, MASK ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN ON BOTH DAYS OF SERVICE FOR MRS. MARY PHYLLIS SIMMONS. MASKS WILL BE PROVIDED IF NEEDED. THANK YOU FOR HONORING THE FAMILY'S REQUEST.
