Mary Jane Staten
February 18, 1923 — January 19, 2022
Passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022 at the age of 98 at the home of her daughter in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
She leaves to cherish her memories her four daughters: Mary Grizzard, Betty (Edward) Boone, Patricia Sadler and Faye (Larry) Mullins, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mary Jane was a kind, loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, relative and friend. Her cheerful, uplifting disposition touched all that knew her, and her perseverance was more than imaginable. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Public viewing with family Friday, January 28th from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37207.
Visitation Saturday, January 29th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with Homegoing Celebration to follow at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1240 Briarville Rd, Madison, Tennessee 37115.
Interment – Hendersonville Memory Gardens, 353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075
