Mathias James Smith was born November 29, 1981 in Werkberg, Germany. He departed is life on January 24, 2019.
Mathias was the son of James Smith and Clarissa Punkin (late Charles “Champ”) Stevenson. Preceded in death bye his grandparents, James & Patricia Smith, Howard “Jelly Roll”, (Renita) Howse and James Waddy; uncles, Shawn and Donell and aunt, Jackie.
Mathias confessed his life to Christ at an early age, at Immanuel Missionary Baptist church, under Pastor King.
Mathias graduated at Pearl/Cohn High School, class of 2000. He also graduated from Miller Motte Technical College for Welding. If he gave you a hand shake, a hug, you felt his love, something that you would never forget. He LOVED his family. He Loved kids, and he was a great Father.
Mathias was employed at TDOT, Subway and T.A. Kaiser Heating & Air of Nashville.
