Melanie Nichole Whitaker

Melanie Nichole Whitaker was born on June 26, 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee to Clifford and Debbie Whitaker. She entered int sweet eternal rest on August 14, 2018.

Melanie was a member of Faith Is The Victory in Nashville, TN and she continued her faith in the Lord throughout her life.

Melanie was a graduate of Hunters Lane High School in 1999; she then attended Draughons Business College with an Associates Degree in Computer Information Technology; with eagle ambition she attended Daymar Institute and received her Associates Degree in Billing and Coding graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2013. Working for various companies throughout Nashville, she became employed with HCA, while their she worked in the National Contact Center as a Patient Care Liaison in this position she advanced and received several plaques and certificates as an Intake Agent of the month, her work ethic was exceptional.

Her hobbies extended into helping so many people with wardrobe and makeup, she was always helping and uplifting people and enjoying life.

Melanie was a loving individual and will forever be missed; she was the best daughter a mother could have.

She was preceded in death by father, Clifford Whitaker; grandmother, Bobbie West.


Survived by mother, Debbie Whitaker; grandmother, Rosa Harris (Chattanooga, TN); aunts, Beverly Black, Jean Pulliam (Salisbury, NC), Vanessa Harris (Chattanooga, TN), Annette Woods (Chattanooga, TN) and Lolilit(Rodney) Hudson (Chattanooga, TN); uncles, Michael West (Gallatin, TN), Kenneth (Charmaine) West (Mableton, GA), cousins, Erik Black, Lance Black, William West, Christopher Wilson, Maya West, Danielle, Charletta, Loranda, Marcus, JarMichael, Fadra, and host of other caring relatives and friends.
