Melvin Eugene Motley Sr., transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, February 24, 2023.


MELVIN leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Shelia; three daughters, Christina, Megan and Lauren; three sons, Melvin Jr. (Vivi), Phillip (April) and Cory Motley. His son, Kevin, preceded him in death on February 22, 2021. Stepdaughter, Stephanie Vazquez; stepson, James (Savannah) Alexander, Jr. Grandchildren: Princess, Trevarious, Keteara, Phillip Motley, Jr., and Devin Hayes. Great-grandson, Jakur Kirkland. Sisters-in-law, Barbara (Richard) Coure and Shearon Mays, brother-in-law, Frankie Mays. Devoted cousins, Theodocia Kennedy and Billie Lee Moore. A special thank you to neighbors Gregory Allen Cesnik, Patrick and Darlene Saltkill; and a host of other relatives, friends and Hart Street church family.
