Milton L. Pegram, more commonly known as “P-Nut” was born to Kelllis and Eddie (Ellison) Pegram on Thursday October 3rd, 1946. He left this life on earth at the age of 71 on Thursday December 21st, 2017.
P-Nut was born and raised in Kingston Springs, TN and later moved to Nashville which became his home. He worked for Metro Water Works until retirement and loved to sing and dance and take his chances with the lottery. He devoted his life to raising and spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.
Anyone that crossed paths with P-Nut will tell you how he was such a sweet person with an amazingly kind spirit. He was the definition of a family man, holding them all dear to his heart. P-Nut didn’t play about his girls, but he was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet. To know him is to love him most definitely. They don’t make ‘em like him anymore and his departure from this earth will impact us all.
Milton was preceded in death by father, Kellis Pegram; mother, Eddie Ellison Pegram; brothers,Thomas Ellison, Paul Ellison, Benny Pegram and Merle Pegram; sisters, Franetta Sue Osborne and Delois Beatrice Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted daughter, Kourtney (Tony) Neely; granddaughters, Amiyah Ward, Aubrey Neely and Autumn Neely; dedicated, step-daughter, LaVonda Caldwell and grandchildren; loving friend, Latrell Caldwell; sister, Alvera Johnson; brothers, Bobby Pegram; devoted brother, Joe Pegram; and a host of very special nieces, nephews, loving friends and family.
