Minnie was predeceased by her daughter, Satrina V. Tate, great-granddaughter, Anastasia D. Barren, both parents, David and Minnie B. Tate. Brothers, Nathaniel A. Tate and Andrew L. Tate. A beloved niece, Prudence Rochelle Tate and great-nephew, Michael Rory Brantley, Jr.
Minnie's memories will be cherished by, her sons, Jason LaJuan (Gloria) Tate, Sr. and Jimmie LaMont (Kim) Godfrey. Her granddaughters, Alexis Snelling, Folasade Alokan and Kourtney (Corey) Hernandez; her grandsons, Jailyn Godfrey and Jason Tate, Jr., Her great-grandchildren, Lorena Elliott and Cameron Bumbalough. Her sisters, Mary Etta (Leroy) Harrison, Daisy Pearl Demerson and Rev. Gloria J. Tate-Reed. Her brothers, James L. Tate, Jesse L. Tate and Pastor Corey (Junetta) Broxton. A host of nieces and nephews throughout the country. Devoted lifelong friends, Pastor Luciose and Kayron Lewis, Jr., Cathy Trudell, Gail Walton, Christina Rosales and Bobby (Victoria) Velasco.
