Mother Martha Wallace of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
Mother Martha Lucille (Jordan) Wallace was born in Nashville, TN on September 14, 1941. Martha expired on December 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Wallace; son, James Jordan; daughter, Bessie Jordan.
She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted son, Richard (Eva) Jordan; daughter, Corega (Harold) White; brother, John (Norma Jean) Jordan; one sister, Fannie Bowers; 13 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Old Ship of Zion on February 22, 2004 and was consecrated as the first Mother of Old Ship of Zion on May 08, 2005. In 2012, due to her illness, she never had the opportunity to witness Pentecostal Church of God and Old Ship of Zion becoming one - New Unity Church. For ten (10) years, Mother Martha was taught how to become a disciple rather than just a member. Mother Wallace remained focused, remained on course, remained faithful, and stood on the promises of God, rather than allowing her trials and tribulations to weigh her down she remained faithful to God no matter how strong the storms grew.
Visitation Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 11AM-12:00 Noon with funeral to follow at Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike., with Pastor Theresa Chandler, Eulogist.
