Natalee Rhea Jackson

JACKSON, Natalee Rhea, age 91 of Franklin, died Tue, Nov 11, 2014 at Belvedere Commons of Franklin. Born Dec 29, 1922 in Neptune, TN, she was the daughter of the late Byrd Lee Rhea and Olivia Nicholson Rhea. She was also preceded in death by her sister: Colette Hotchkiss and her husband: Roscoe Davidson Jackson, to whom she was married for 42 years at the time of his death in 1988. Natalee attended Tarbox and Hume Fogg. She graduated from East Nashville High School where she was voted “Wittiest Girl” of her graduating class. She then attended Ward-Belmont College and Falls Business School before moving on to her job at Merrill Lynch. Natalee served as Regent of the General Francis Nash Chapter DAR, and held offices in the William B. Bate Chapter UDC, Old Hickory/Nickajack Chapter USD of 1812, Middle Plantation Chapter DAC, Magna Charta Dames and the Virginia Association. She was a member of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs for over 35 years, the Belmont Association, the Hermitage Association and the Women’s Club of Nashville. Survived by her daughter: Candace Sands; granddaughters: Michelle Sands and Amber Veach. The family wishes to thank the employees of Belvedere Commons and Guardian Hospice for their care and compassion, with special acknowledgment to her personal caregivers: Erica and Teresa from Caregivers by WholeCare. According to her wishes, services will be private.
