Ms. Norweeda Jewel Pullen, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Jewel was born to the union of Robert and Mary Pullens, on October 12, 1954 she departed this life on August 7, 2022, at Centennial Hospital Emergency.
Jewel confessed hope in Christ at an early age, she united with the McNairy Hill U.P.B. Church under The Leadership of The Elder John T. Cassaway. She received her education at Metro Public Schools, she worked until she retired, she loved doing Volunteer work at the food bank near her home, Jewel loved her family and spending time with them, she loved fishing, most of all Jewel loved being an usher. Jewel loved her pastor and church family, she loves working in the church, and other church’s affiliated in the Primitive Baptist. She was the Treasurer at her church, and The Women Auxiliary at the church she was the vice president of the Usher Union at the Big Harpeth U.P.B. Association, she was the Treasurer of the Tennessee P.B. State Convention, she loved working in the kitchen at church, she enjoyed life her family and friends will greatly miss her, she was loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by father, Mr. Robert Lee Pullens; mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Pullens Perkins; step-father Mr. James Edward Perkins; brothers, Robert Lee Pullens and Larry Eugene Pullens; sister, Ms. Annie Perkins, and devoted companion Deacon Levell Seay (Buster)
Those to cherish her memories: son George Pullen and his wife Diane Pullen; 2 grandchildren Lesha Pullen and George Pullen Jr; Grand stepson Micheal Newson Jr; sisters and brothers Theresa Brown, Gerry Pullens, James (Valerie) Perkins, Deborah (Bretland) Perkins, Latonya Perkins, and Kimberly Perkins; devoted aunt, Mother Dorthory Waddy and family, The House Family and play brother, Robert Johnson; devoted friends, Pastor John (Elaine) Sawyers a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins, great great nieces and nephews, a host of family, other relatives, and friends.
