"Daniel's Journey"
Minister Paul Daniel Anthony, Sr. affectionately called "Danny" was the eleventh child born on May 26, 1954 to the late Sallie Dixon and Ernest "Babe" Anthony Sr., in Jackson, Tennessee. He entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Also, preceding him in eternal rest, his loving son, Shawn T. and his loving brothers, Claude D., Richilieu, Cleveland R. Sr., Anthony and his devoted brother in law, Reginald Beechum, Sr.

"Daniel" accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and baptized under the ministry and Pastorialship of the late Reverend Marion Myers at Watson Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member. He truly enjoyed the Worship experience and being a part of the Ministerial Ministry until his health failed.

"Daniel" received his education in Metro Davidson County School System in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Pearl High School in 1972. His hobbies mainly including singing, and preaching the gospel and enjoying all his family. With his unique laughter that will be remembered in our hearts forever. Many times while singing, he enjoyed playing his bass guitar. He was awesome in this talent as well!

"Daniel" was a very avid singer with his high, tenor voice with many genres of music. He was most gifted and well known for the "Quartet" style of singing and spreading God's great gospel music. He was a part of various groups around this city. The Fairfield Four, The Dynamic Dixie Travelers, The Chimes of Caanan where he sung alongside of one of his elder affectionate brother Ollie, The Joy Boys was his most recent group where he displayed his talent. Also, while singing with the Fairfield Four, he had a great opportunity to minister and sing in the country of Turkey in 2005 with them as well. He was very happy to be a part of that historic monumental moment. These are just some of the many and various groups in and around the Nashville area that he was afforded this great and legendary opportunity to do what he enjoyed.

"Daniel" had an illuminating personality and a very candid genuine relationship with all who knew him. Especially those who were very dear to him, his loving children, siblings, grand children, nieces and nephews who adored and cherished him. His great nieces and nephews, too!
