Pierre Lamont Osbia entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 3, 2017.
Pierre was born at Morrisania Hospital in the Bronx, New York on January 4, 1966 to Woodrow Osbia, Jr. and Lillian Joyner.
Lamont and "Mont Man" as he was fondly called. He was also known as "DJ Lil Rock" during his Hip-Hop days. He attended public schools in the Bronx school district. After which, he was self employed in a number of skills. His greatest success was becoming a men's Valet. He was known as the "Maestro of the Men's Room." His business covered various cities including New Haven Ct., Charlotte, NC and Louisville, KY, Murfreesboro and Nashville, TN.
Pierre relocated from New York City to Palm Bay, Florida, moving onward to Orlando Florida between 1989-1990. There he met and later married Ozella Miller. From this union two children were born: Quintin Deon and Jatiece Ariel and stepson, Travaris Leon. Lamont then moved to Nashville in 2002 after which he met Shavonda Tariuwa. Together, they have a daughter A'Miya Vashti.
Pierre attended church faithfully and was well versed in the Word of God; he had aspirations of becoming a Minister of the Gospel. He had a huge heart; he loved his family and his friends. He would also help anyone in need. Precious memories of Pierre will remain in their hearts forever. Every day will bring memories to mind of the good times, special occasions and the unforgettable times that we have all shared with him.
Our hearts are saddened today, but loving memories will always remain in the hearts of his parents, Lillian Joyner, Woodrow and Barbara Osbia; children, Quintin D. Miller, Jatiece A. Miller, Travaris L. McGurdy all of Orlando, FL, Raven S. Osbia, A'Miya V. Osbia both of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Dorene Coates of Palm Bay, FL, and Rachel Thomas (Danny) of E. Stroudsburg, PA; two brothers, Woodrow (Skip) Osbia III (Tanya) of Mt. Holly, NC, and Douglas (Nickie) Roper (Valerie) of the Bronx, NY; grandson, Deon Miller of Orlando, FL; one aunt, Mrs. Mary Hartley of Longmont, CO; one uncle, David Osbia of Atlanta, GA; two nephews, Kevin Osbia of New Haven, CT, Kadaar Duncan of W. Palm Beach, FL; three nieces, Qydema Osbia, Shanell (Devon) Parker-McNair, Ft. Riley, KS, and Araya Thomas and a host of cousins, other relatives and specials friends.
