Ralph Edward Bennett

Ralph Edward Bennett was born on September 19, 1958. He was raised by his loving parents, Alfred and Annie Catherine Bennett. He departed this life on July 16, 2021, in Nashville, TN.


Ralph accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Seay Hubbard UMC for many years. He later became a faithful member of Dixon Memorial UMC.


He received his formal education in Davidson County Public Schools. He is a graduate of McGavock High School. He was a Star Basketball player, helping his team reach the State Championship.


Ralph is preceded in death by his loving parents, Alfred and Annie Catherine Bennett.


He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, LaRontea Hughes and Kimitha (Steven) Perry; devoted sister, Denise Bennett-Beverly; nieces, Shanta (Timothy) Shute-Clay and Shemeka Shute; nephew, Medrick Shelton; granddaughter Teaira Dean; greatnephews, Courtney, Cameron, Cortesse and Kennedy Clay, Jaylin and Kaydin Shelton and Javone Lee; great-nieces, Karrington Clay and Jada Shute. Close cousins, David Church, Carol Grant, Veronica Grant, Anthony Grant, Emile Grant, and Natasha Grant. Also, other loved family members and friends.
