Rapheal Silward Moore was born on May 6, 1965 to the late James Harris and Ruby Moore Harris in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this Life on September 5, 2021.

Rapheal (“Ray”, “Answer”, “Chief”) Moore was a graduate of Maplewood High School in Nashville, Tennessee in 1983.

Ray was a believer in Jesus Christ, and had a passion for studying, and teaching the bible.

He was a kind and caring gentleman who would always greet you with a smile.

Rapheal was a dedicated and loyal employee of the State of Tennessee’s Postal Service Department for 27 ½ years, where he earned his nickname “Chief” from his many kind and caring coworkers.

In his spare time, he would work on rebuilding, and repairing many of his vehicles, right alongside his big brother Jr.. He was always there when you needed him to repair your car, be your Uber driver, help out when your finances were low and share wealth of wisdom from the bible earning the nickname “Answer”.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Moore.

With pleasant memories always to cherish, he leaves a brother, James Moore Jr., sister, Rita Moore; Diana Mason, Deborah Bowen, Gleness Banks, and Clarissa Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and co-workers, and devoted cousin John Harris.
