Richard Henry Lewis

Passed away May 5, 2023. Born August 6, 1940, in Appalachia, Virginia, to the late Helen S. and Robert H. Lewis. Preceded in death by his devoted wife of 57 years, Lily Yokley Lewis and his brothers, James, Joseph, and Harry Lewis. Survived by his devoted children Laundrea Lynnette Lewis, Gerald LeMans Lewis (Rhonda White), and Adrienne LaNesha Lewis; grandchildren Calyssia Ti’errah Lewis and Shirave Lewis and their mother, Alice Johnson Lewis, and great-grandson, Victor Wayne Lawrence III; sisters Earline (Ronald) Giles, Stella Townsend, Leigh (John) Brown, Gwatholyn (Michael) Turney, and brother Robert Lewis; sisters-in-law Mary Lewis, Linda Lewis, Gerline Yokley, Carolyn Ogleton and Olivia Harding; and brother-in-law Eddie (Celestine) Yokley and a host of other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to Rhonda White. Her comforting care, love, and support of our father during his final months will never be forgotten.

Family and Friends Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 11:00am until 1:00pm (NO MEMORIAL SERVICE) at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pk, Nashville, TN 37207.
