Robert Lee Evans age 67, of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, September 5, 2014.
Robert's professional career began at North Nashville High in 1971. He then began teaching in the Williamson County School System at Franklin High School. Three years later he became one of the Guidance Counselors for FHS, serving in that capacity until his retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Latricia (Keith) Ford; three grandchildren, Marquita, Marcell, and Lakendric Ford; three sisters, Annie Handy, Roszena (Donnie) Smith, and Connie Evans; five brothers, Haver, Vernon, Henry (Doris), Harry, and James Evans, and other relatives & friends, including his TSU family.
Robert will Lie in State Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 6:45pm with family present beginning at 6:00pm. The Omega Service by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated at 6:45pm with funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m., Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike.
Interment in Sunset Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois
