Robert Eugene Love Jr.

Robert E. Love Sr. was born on September 3, 1931 in Madison TN, to the late Percy and Martha Vinson Love. Robert received his religious values early in life this prompted him to join the church at an early age at Waynan Chapel A.M.E. in Madison, TN and later moved his membership to Bakers Chapel C.M.E. in Goodlettsville, TN.

Robert attended Davidson County public schools in Madison, TN. He was employed for many years (36) at Transit Ready-Mix as a truck driver of Nashville TN, until his retirement. Following his retirement, he was employed as a security guard with Washington Square in Nashville.

Robert was very stylish and loved to dress well. He loved his family, and they also loved him. He was always kind and compassionate to all that he met. He attended church faithfully; where he served as an active usher and trustee. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking for his family.

Robert entered into eternal peace on Sunday November 25, 2018, he was surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert E. Love Jr. and six siblings.

Robert leaves, to cherish his memory, a loving wife of 63 years, Annie M. Love; children, Monya (Jonah) Rogan, of Gallatin, TN., Dexter (Barbara) Love of Nashville, TN., Sheree Love of Goodlettsville,TN; brother-in-law: Jesse (Christine) Patton and sister-in-law, Linda Love; grandchildren: Adrian (Leila) Holt, Latrenda Love, Kannesha (Michael) Akridge, Annitra Burr; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
