Robert Smith Jr., transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Rusty was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Katherine “Kitty” Maryland; his beloved cousin, LaShonda “Shony” Maryland; his uncles Ronnie Miller and John Maryland Sr.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Daleyna “Nikki” Smith, his children, D’Quan Reynolds and Keshaun Phillips; his loving father and mother, Robert Lee and Vandolyn M. Smith; his devoted sisters, Vandolyn “Coco” Smith, Tracey (Michael) Harris, and Arnitha (Melvin)
Pope; his nieces Victoria Fraley, Mi’kaela Harris and Arneshia Young; his nephews, William Smith, Michael Harris, Jr. and Daunte Young Jr; his Mother in Love, Renee Knight; devoted brothers, Brandon Baines, Michael Wesley, Nicholas Crutcher, Anthony Knight, and Trevoir Swett. He leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and an unlimited amount of devoted friends. Special friends, Don Hyler, Howard Conwell, Anton Daniels Sr., Jeff Sanders, Wayne Carter, Tim Boo and Sampson Bradley.
“Rusty” will be missed by all; but his loving and kind spirit will live on forever!
