Ronald Beltrama Petty was born October 25, 1948 to the late Owen Patrice Petty and Naomi Francis Sharpe Petty. He was the oldest of three children. He left this earthly life January 9, 2021.
Ronnie was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System and graduated from Pearl High School and he attended Fisk University where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. During his time at Pearl and Fisk he was a standout Football player.
After playing semi-pro football for a short time he started his career in the food service industry where he worked at many upscale restaurants. He even has the opportunity and pleasure of serving President Gerald Ford at the Stock Yard restaurant.
Those left to celebrate and cherish his memory is his sister Kimala D. Petty and brother, Ricci R. Petty, niece Valencia L Petty-Perry, nephew Brandon L. Petty-Perry, great niece Kaylee K. Royster, great nephew Kayleb L Petty-Perry and other devoted relatives and friends.
