Rowland Sherron Duke, departed his life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on April 16, 1962. He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Mrs. Myra Rena Duke and father, Rev. Bledsoe Wilson.
He was educated in the Maury County school system, and he also attended the Nashville Technical School. He had worked for the Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was a member of the St. Paul P.B. Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted wife of twenty-four years, Mrs. Faye Duke of Nashville, TN, devoted daughters, Yukeia (Darric, SR.) Leach of Spring Hill, TN, Markeesa (Chris) Scales of Madison, TN, and Ceanna Duke of Nashville TN, two sons, Antonio Batts and Rowland, Jr. of Nashville, TN, six grandchildren, Darric, Jr., Lauren, Channing, Cevannah, Anariel, and Antonio, Jr., a devoted sister, Minister Carolyn Duke Wilson of Columbia, TN, three devoted brothers, William (Bonita) Duke of St. Louis, MO, Larry (Rebbecca) Duke of Columbia, TN, and Pastor James Glenn Duke of Nashville, TN, additional Sister-In-Laws, Debra, Queenie, Judy, and Cynthia; devoted friends, Jeffrey Hannah and Robert Johnson, and a special caregiver - Vanessa Cortner.
