Rufus William Coleman, Jr age 80, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, January 6, 2024.

Rufus was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Rosa Coleman; siblings, Bruce Coleman, and Deloris Jackson; and his two sons, Keith Coleman and Gilbert Cox.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife of twenty-one years, Rose Coleman, his children, Michael Johnson, Renee Sawyers, Titus Cunningham, Andrea Coleman, Tammy Coleman –Thomas (Anthony), his grand-children, Antonio Thomas, Terrace Holt, Jr., Antwaun Thomas, Jeremiah Johnson, Tamika Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jr., Kaitlyn Johnson, Shatika Sawyers, Dontrell Sawyers, Antonio Johnson, Kevin Cox, Michael Ingram, Angie Mallory, and Tynitha McDonald, a host of great grandchildren, and his brothers Adolphus, Leonard, and Larry (Felicia) Coleman.
