Ms. Sandra Gale Lea, age 69 departed this life Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was born to loving parents, Joseph Johnson and Effie Brown Johnson.

Sandra was an executive chief in the branch of the United States Army, serving from 1973 to 1976 with an Honorable Discharge.

Sandra was a member of the Metropolitan Interdenominational Church in Nashville under the Pastor of Reverend Edwin Sanders.

Sandra was full of life and energy, she loved to be with family and friends. But her most important hobby was fishing.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted son, Howard (Donnie) Lea; devoted partner, Jeanna Washington; grandchildren, Effrin and Malik Lea; sister, Patricia Brown; brother, Peter Brown; nephew, Walter Brown; a host of other family and friends, to many friends too name; and her puppy, Toby.
