. Savannah Watson was born March 8, 1929 in Franklin TN to late Prentice Reynolds and Frances Reynolds. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Nashville.
Savannah was educated in Metropolitan Nashville School System. She always talked about being a cheerleader at Haynes High School. Her favorite cheer she use to chant was "give me a team, give me a yell, give me a team that will fight like, hell' o central give me a line, we can beat your team any old time, oh scoop to scoop, you got the right dipper but you're in the wrong scoop".
Savannah moved to San Francisco, CA and joined into a beloved union to the late Andrew Jackson Sr. She gave birth to a son, Andrew Jackson Jr. Later moved to Chicago, IL then returned to Franklin, TN. She loved her job and faithful servant as housekeeper and cook to The Famous Frost Family until she retired and move to Nashville with her loving sister late Robbie Lee Bowling. She really loved her niece, Shirley Calloway whom took care of them both throughout their last days.
Savannah loved to cook, sing and enjoy being around family. She had a true love for Luther Vandross.
Savannah was preceded in death by her parents, Prentice and Francis Reynolds;
brothers, Albert, Prentice Jr., Mack and Johnnie; sisters, Robbie Lee Bowling and Mattie McKissack.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Andrew Watson Jr.; devoted nieces,
Shirley Calloway and Mary Bowling; devoted nephew, Vernon Bowling; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly.
