Sean LaTroy Ransom was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Hattie Mae Ransom, his grandmother, Peggy Ransom, and his mother, Marilyn Ransom. Sean was born July 2, 1970, in Nashville, Tennessee, and died unexpectedly on September 10, 2021 at age 51.
Sean attended Metro Nashville Public Schools. He graduated from Pearl High School in 1988.
Sean gave his life to Christ at an early age at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He relocated to Louisville, Kentucky where he became an active member of Canaan Christian Church. He was still an active member in CCC at the time of his passing.
Sean is survived by two daughters, Sasha Ransom and Shontelle Ransom; grandchildren, David Ransom and Samuel Crismon, Jr.; brothers, Jerome Harbison, Corey Lee, and James Morris III; sisters, Crystal Westmoreland and Ebonie Morris-Freely; Uncle, Ronald Smith, Jr.; wife, Ndeye R. Dieye; devoted friends, Nephiteria Cato (Te), Eugene Colston, and Kendra Young (Monique), and a host of cousins.
