Shirley A. White-Welbeck was born on January 14, 1960 to James E Johnson and Betty L White in Nashville, TN. She departed this life on December 28, 2020 at the age of 60.
She graduated from Pearl High School in 1972. She was a member of Payne Chapel A.M.E Church, Nashville, TN. She obtained her beautician license while attending Pearl and continued towards the path of becoming a hair stylist. She took pride in all her work whether doing hair or helping others.
Shirley spent most of her time caring for others. She loved spending time with her sisters and friends. She enjoyed shopping and watching movies. She enjoyed planning family events.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Antonio Abernathy and D'Arius Welbeck; brother, Michael E White; sisters, Deborah Lane (Kable) and LaTonya Moore (Langston); three uncles, three aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, James E Johnson; mother, Betty L Johnson; and sister, Lisa White.
