Steven Lamont Cartwright, (Big Apple) was born December 2, 1957 in Madison, TN to the late Bernice and Sadie Cartwright. Steven joined the church Bakers Chapel CME at a young age and was educated in Metro Public Schools. He loved his Lord and his family, and he was always willing to help others. His selfless, kind, and gracious manor will continue to be an
inspiration to his family and friends that he loved dearly.
Steven was united in the bonds of holy matrimony November 12, 1993 to Theresa Malone Cartwright. He was a faithful employee to TVA Local 86. He loved his Steeler Nation and enjoyed supporting his nephews throughout their sports careers as well as supporting his nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernice and Sadie Cartwright and brother Michael Washington.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife and care giver of twenty-seven years Theresa Cartwright, devoted brothers; Roderick (Elisha) Cartwright, Nashville, TN, Forrest (Humberto Nunez) Cartwright, Goodlettsville, TN, David (Katherine) Cartwright, Hendersonville, TN. Devoted sister Audrey Washington (caregiver). Special aunt Judy
Cartwright-Bender, Kokomo, IN. Two goddaughters, Ashley and Andrea Thompson, Sister in laws; Carolyn Washington, Nashville, TN, Beverly (Ron) Webb, Virginia, Jevette Malone,
Nashville, TN. Devoted Nephews, Eric, David Jr., Nicholas, Christopher, Joseph, Ryan, and Steven Cayden Cartwright, Lance Carter. Devoted Nieces Gracie May (care giver and best friend), Readonna Glossop, Nicole Mathews, Lashan (Lamar), Kenya (Myro) Buggs, Michelle (Karlos) Dotson. Special friends Ray Bryant, Alfred Bryant, and Mark Harrison and host of great
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Walk through visitation Friday, December 11th, 3-6pm. Funeral service Saturday, December 12th at 2pm, Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike.
