Age 59, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Tamela R. Moore was born on July 16, 1957 along with a twin sister, Pamela to the parents of Charles and Geraldine Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Moore and grandmother, Minnie B. Petway.
Tamela graduated from Hillsboro High School. After graduation she was employed by Aladdin for eight years, went on to Avco and worked there for ten years and later in life she changed coursers and became a care giver. She was excellent to her patients at Senior Plus More.
Tamela accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Watson Grove Baptist Church under the leader of the late Curtis Goodwin. Tamela also attended church with her twin sister, Pamela. She loved TBN ministries who she financially supported until her death.
Tamela loved animals, especially her dog-Diamond, who received the greatest of care. Diamond did not know that she was a dog until Tam became ill. Being a Pit Bull kept her from receiving all the love and care from other family members because they were afraid. Also Tamela, would light up any room with her smile, style and personality.
A devoted family who will forever cherish her memories are: mother, Geraldine Moore; son, Chauncey Moore; granddaughter, Destiny Day; sisters, Pamela Moore (twin), and Subrina Moore; two great uncles, Robert (Christine) Ewing, and William (Shawn) Ewing; three nephews, one niece and a host of cousins, and other love ones; special friends, Lolita Knox, Michael (Renee) Edmondson, The Hendricks Family, special cousin, Tierra Dunn Patterson; and special friend, Lela Henderson.
