Thelma Teresa Adams was born January 16, 1960 to the late Neal Adams and late Mary Thomas

She was preceeded in death by sons, Percy(Boo) and Andrew (Pac man ) Adams; brother, Willie Thomas; sisters, Dollie Hudgins and Serita Gail Hills; niece, Sheila Miles; nephew, Thomas Anderson; great nephew, Marquice Miles.

Thelma gave her life to Christ earlier in life.

She worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for about 5 years and Meharry Hospital for about 5 years where her health began to fail her.

Resa was a character. She loved to have fun and crack jokes. She would make you laugh until your stomach hurts or you would cry. She kept you laughing.

Rest in peace my Sister, Take your rest, Rest in peace.

She is survived by son, Corey Adams; a very devoted fiancé, Clarence Chipper Brewington; daughters, Quishawn Brewington, Dennisha Henderson and Anaya (Roberto) Gatewood; sister, Anita Adams (Herman) Roberts; brothers, John Thomas, Curtis (Sherry) Adams and Tim (Rochelle) Adams; grandchildren, Laila Camille Holmes, Porsha Adams, Brianne, Ani Janae, Dashawn Brewington, Jesse White, Jeni'ya and Roberto Jr. Gatewood; play sisters, Geraldine Miles,  Dazell Hill, Nellie Nelson, Novella (Alford) Colwell, Beth Jennings and Joyce Hunt; nieces, Latonya and Tammy Miles, Monica Thomas (Johnny) Willingham, Tiffany Hudgins (Columbus Ms.) Tameika (Kelly) Vaden, April and Angel Anderson and Sonica Osborne; ephews, Willie Earl Thomas, Gerald Wiggins, Tanoka (Monique) Adams, James (Courtney) and David Hudgins (Columbus Ms), Steve Anderson, Marcus Anderson; devoted great niece, Monique Johnson and devoted great nephew Montez Johnson;     Cousins: Margret (Charles) Johnson and Eddie Murphy; very devoted friends, Emma Cookie and  Willie (Gloria) Brewington; other friends and relatives.
