Thomas E. Hill

Thomas Edward Hill was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 6, 1938 to Ovata Davis-Hill and Henry Hill Sr. He took his eternal rest at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN on Friday, July 16, 2021. He gave his life to God at an early age. Mr. Hill attended Metro Nashville Public Schools where he received his diploma from Cameron Junior High School. He spent the majority of his work life at Queen’s Tree Surgery as a loader and retired over 20 years ago.


Mr. Hill could often be seen wearing his overalls, a baseball cap, and a nice pair of sunglasses. He loved watching sports, western shows and listening to the Gospel.


Thomas is preceded in death by parents Ovata and Henry Hill and siblings; Louis Newsom, Juanita Caruthers, Andrew Newsom, Frances Reece, Joseph Hill, and Barbara Carey.


He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter: Christie (Antonio) Miller; brother: Henry (Mary) Hill Jr.; devoted granddaughter: Natesha “Tish” (Justin) Logue; grandson: Antonio Miller; great- grandchildren: Karter Miller and Bryson Logue; long-time friend: Harry Jordon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
